The food was amazing. Ordered the chicken taco, shrimp taco, spicy lamb bowl, and the spicy lamb Couscous And Spicy Stewed Veggies. All it was good but my favorite was the shrimp taco. Had to have two of them. Would recommend this spot.

We were greeted promptly by a very friendly gal who does decide on what to order. we ended up ordering the Merguez (lamb sausage) bowl and the Shakshuka with chicken. We also ordered the mint tea. This place was adorable. I really loved the hues of blue which gave the place an ocean-beach vibe but with contrast to the dark wood. It didn't click until I was placing my order that this is Moroccan food with a Baja California flare...(like using cotija cheese). When the food arrived, they had made a mistake and gave us a sausage taco, but they were very understanding and ended up making it right by giving us the bowl we ordered without charging us the difference. The food light, filling, fresh and delicious. I would recommend.

Stopped here for counter service before a concert at SDSU. The staff went above and beyond to explain dishes and drink choices!! We all tried a different bowl and all loved our choices. Also the craft drinks were great too! We will be back!

YUM! Big portion, cute atmosphere and friendly service! Enjoyed my vegetarian bowl! They have plenty of plant based and non plant based options! Highly recommend the truffle fries

We were impressed with this small eatery. It's fast-casual style and the cashier was friendly and helpful. They have free-serve lemon mint water and a cute dining area. My husband had the merguez sandwich with fries and I had the Moroccan spiced chicken bowl. I preferred my husband's protein choice (lamb sausage--merguez) and I'm happy to say that my #1 concern with sausage (sodium level--some are TOO salty) isn't an issue here! The bowl has a lot of variety in ingredients. It certainly tastes very wholesome and healthy. Honestly it wasn't DELICIOUS...it tastes like health food so there's a trade off...but it was pretty good. The French fries though, my god those are great. Portion sizes are quite generous. I took half of my bowl home for leftovers and it was just as good cold the next morning. My husband said this place was a 5/5 for him. For me, it's a 4/5 at least for now, because the bowl didn't WOW me.

What a terrific find. of course I had to make my usual pain in the ass modifications so i ordered the chicken bowl with no couscous or beans and no crema. The cashier didn't even blink. She read the order back to me correctly. The food arrived pretty quickly and it was exactly as ordered and so delicious! The servers are really helpful here and very nice. Prices are so reasonable. Water is free! Bathrooms are clean. They do have a few tables on the patio that are pup friendly and breezy. The only downside here is that the indoor table area can be quite warm. They do have fans but i probably would not recommend eating here if it's really hot outside. Overall an excellent find!

I am so glad I finally stopped in Medina for an easy dinner. It is quick, counter service in a cute space and the employees are friendly! I ordered the bowl with the battered fish. I am not usually a fish girl, but I thought I'd try something new and it was delicious. Very light, very flakey. The toppings and fillings all came together nicely. Loved the couscous and the black beans holding it together. The salsa and aioli complimented each other, the cojita, onions, and corn gave it great flavor, and the tzatziki was a perfect touch. We also ordered the tzatziki with pita and it was so soft and warm. For a drink I did get the Moroccan mint iced tea and it was refreshing. I will definitely be back to try other meals! Or get this one over and over since I loved it.

Delicious flavors in a chill, airy garage. We had some questions about the vegetarian dishes, and the waiter answered them all so patiently. Of the two dishes we ordered, the Shakshouka and the Cauliflower Al Pastor bowl, I would definitely recommend the cauliflower! So flavorful and colorful. The Shakshouka was also good and it came with 6 small slices of pita, but I personally liked the bowl more. The only reason for the 1 star dock is because of the small portions for the price...

I drive by here all the time and have always wanted to visit just because the outdoor design pulled me in. Holy cow! The Merguez Taco is absolutely to die for! While delicious, $7 for one is a lot especially since they aren't filling. I also tried their Traditional Moroccan Couscous Plate, which they only offer on weekends. I really enjoyed the flavor of this and the freshness of all the veggies they gave. The hotsauce they gave really helped to liven the flavor up as well. The size was the biggest downfall in my opinion. There was way too much even for two people, where we just got bored of it after a while. I would've loved if they offered a smaller version because the leftovers weren't great. Would definitely get the taco again, but I would rather try something else than get the couscous plate again.

Moroccan + Tacos + Fries = Yes Please Medina offers up Moroccan fusion and we're all better off because of it. The menu consists of tacos, bowls and a couple specialty entrees. Yours truly ordered the Cali-Merguez sandwich which is a spicy lamb sausage covered in veggies, cheese and sauce nestled in a toasted roll served atop a bed of freshly made fries. It was absolutely gluttonous, I loved every bite of it and ordered a beer to go with it (they have beer and wine). It's one of those walk up to the counter, order, take a number, find a seat and they bring your food type of set ups. Friendly staff and pretty quick service. Lots of outdoor seating right on El Cajon Blvd so the people watching is top notch.
